File Naming
Our servers are configured so that either of the following URLs will
display your web site:
http://www.your-domain.com/
and/or
http://your-domain.com/
When uploading web content to the server via FTP, be sure to place
everything in your /htdocs directory.
The default "home" page for your site should be named: index.html
Please note that our servers run the FreeBSD Operating System (UNIX) and
are case-sensitive. A file named index.html is not the same as a file
named Index.html (or INDEX.HTML).
When visiting your web site, if no specific page is requested in the
visitor's URL, the server will look for the following files (in the order
shown) and display the first one it finds:
index.html
index.htm
index.shtml
index.mv
index.php
If none of the above files are found, the server will display an Access Forbidden
message indicating that no index document is available.
